Former Liverpool striker Ian Rush is recuperating in hospital after being admitted to intensive care due to flu complications.
Liverpool FC has extended their best wishes for Rush’s swift recovery.
Rush, 64, was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital last week due to breathing difficulties and spent two days in intensive care. He is an ambassador for Liverpool FC and has responded positively to treatment, though he remains under medical care.
