Bo Horvat scored his second goal 52 seconds into overtime, leading the New York Islanders to a 5-4 comeback win against the Penguins at UBS Arena. Mathew Barzal noted the importance of the win in the tight race. Despite being outplayed, the Islanders held a 2-1 first-period lead after late goals from Horvat and Matthew Schaefer. The Penguins tied it in the second with goals from Egor Chinakhov and Bryan Rust. Coach Patrick Roy praised the team’s resilience and comeback effort.
