Hearts five points above Celtic, who have a game on Sunday
Hearts, the Premiership frontrunners, owed much to their goalkeeper, Alexander Schwolow, as they weathered a late surge to secure a scoreless draw against Motherwell. The German shot-stopper made several crucial saves to deny Motherwell, who also saw two goals disallowed for offside. Hearts now lead by five points, though Celtic, sitting second, have two games in hand.
Dundee rallied from behind to end a four-match losing streak with a 3-1 win over St Mirren at Dens Park. St Mirren initially led through Mikael Mandron, but the hosts responded with an Alex Gogic own goal and a stunning strike from Drey Wright before Joe Westley clinched the victory with a third goal late in the match.
