Appeal hearing against Uefa’s decision scheduled for Friday
Club’s first Conference League match planned for 21 August
Oliver Glasner expressed confidence that Crystal Palace will succeed in their appeal at the court of arbitration for sport (Cas) this week and be allowed to compete in the Europa League.
Palace aims to challenge Uefa’s decision to relegate them to the Conference League for violating multi-club ownership regulations, with the appeal slated for Friday in Lausanne. Cas is expected to announce the decision on Monday, following Glasner’s FA Cup winners’ clash with Premier League champions Liverpool in the Community Shield at Wembley.
