Ipswich Town have the chance to move up to second in the EFL Championship tonight when they take on struggling Oxford United away from home.
It took the Tractor Boys a while to get going this season after suffering the blow of relegation from the Premier League.
But Kieran McKenna’s men are motoring now and head into tonight’s clash off the back of four wins and two draws in their last six games.
Oxford United vs Ipswich Town top betting tips
Oxford start the night sitting third bottom of the EFL Championship after a poor run that has seen them go five games without a win.
They also haven’t won any of their last three at home but the 5/1 on offer at Bet365 still looks too big for a home team in a league as competitive as the Championship.
Ipswich don’t offer much value at a best 16/25 with BetMGM so it’s best heading to the player markets.
Full-back Leif Davis fires over some excellent deliveries with his left peg for Ipswich so he looks a bit overpriced at 11/2 with BetMGM for an assist.
Oxford United have only collected five cards across their last seven games so I like the 4/5 on offer at Bet365 for betting against both teams collecting two or more cards. Combining that with under 4.5 match cards boosts the odds to 21/20.
Borussia Monchengladbach vs RB Leipzig
There’s a cracker in the Budesliga tonight as second-placed RB Leipzig bid to stay in sight of leaders Bayern Munich with a win in Monchengladbach.
With Bayern winning 10 of their 11 games so far in an unbeaten start, Leipzig have done well to stay within six points of the champions.
But tonight’s game is a potential banana skin, with Borussia finally finding form after a horror start to the season.
Gladbach have won their last four in all competitions, scoring 13 goals in the process, so we should see a decent game tonight.
Even though the home side are back in business, Leipzig still look decent value at 15/13 with Unibet after winning five of their last six games.
We should see goals at both ends but combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals only pays 8/13 at Bet365. There’s more value in backing over 1.5 first-half goals at evens with the same firm.
Germany Women vs Spain Women
The Women’s Nations League is coming to a conclusion and German will need a good result in tonight’s home leg to stand a chance against hot favourites Spain.
The Spaniards showed their class by demolishing Sweden 5-0 on aggregate in the semis while Germany had a tougher time as they edged out France 3-2.
Bet365 have the world champions as 3/4 favourites for a win in the first leg of the final, even though they are away from home.
But the Germans will be fired up and desperate to keep the tie alive so they could offer some value in the double chance at evens.
Both sides possess plenty of firepower so the 21/20 on offer at Bet365 for over 2.5 goals also looks worth a punt.
