Fanatics Sportsbook to Enter Missouri With Boyd Gaming Partnership

Fanatics Betting and Gaming announced on Monday that it is entering the Missouri sports betting market through a new partnership with Boyd Gaming Corporation. The multi-year agreement will allow Fanatics Sportsbook to operate mobile and retail sports betting in Missouri, pending all required regulatory approvals.

Under the deal, Fanatics Sportsbook will launch the mobile app statewide while opening branded retail sportsbooks inside Boyd’s Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City and Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles, two of the state’s largest casino properties. The companies are targeting a December 2025 debut, coinciding with the rollout of legalized sports wagering in Missouri.

Fanatics to Launch Online and Retail Sportsbook in Missouri

Upon launch, Missouri sports fans will be able to download the Fanatics Sportsbook app on iOS and Android. Fanatics highlighted several features in Tuesday’s announcement:

Up to 10% FanCash back on every bet, win or lose, redeemable for team merchandise.
Fair Play™ Injury Protection, giving bettors relief if a player exits early due to injury.
Exclusive events and experiences available only through Fanatics.
In-house trading of betting markets, covering professional and college football, basketball, hockey, baseball, tennis, soccer, golf, MMA, boxing, and more.

The Ameristar retail sportsbooks in Kansas City and St. Charles (near St. Louis) will offer a full-service betting lounge environment for guests.

Competitive Missouri Sports Betting Landscape

Missouri’s upcoming market is shaping up to be highly competitive. DraftKings and Circa Sports have already secured untethered licenses, allowing them to operate mobile sportsbooks without casino partnerships. BetMGM will operate in Missouri after the partnership with Century Casinos.

Meanwhile, FanDuel has also secured its place in Missouri through a new market access partnership with St. Louis CITY SC of Major League Soccer. The agreement, announced earlier this year, positions FanDuel to operate its mobile sportsbook in the state once regulated betting launches in December 2025.

“Missouri is home to some of the most passionate sports fans in the country, and we are thrilled to partner with St. Louis CITY SC to introduce our industry leading product to the Show Me State,” said Mike Raffensperger, President of Sports at FanDuel.

Other major operators are also expected to join the field when the market opens in December.
