On his return to the club he once saved from relegation, Sean Dyche would not have recognized Everton. The former Everton manager found himself facing a well-appointed club, a happy fanbase, and a lively, confident team as the hosts rose to fifth in the Premier League with an easy win against Nottingham Forest.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall delivered another flawless performance in Everton’s midfield, as the team secured their fourth win in five games, highlighting the progress made since David Moyes replaced Dyche in January. Dewsbury-Hall initiated the first goal and scored the third, with Thierno Barry finally scoring to much applause in-between. Forest were outplayed and second-best throughout.
