The Super League endeavor has concluded after Uefa declared it reached “an agreement of principles for the wellbeing of European club football” with Real Madrid and the European Football Clubs group.
In an unexpected announcement made just before Uefa’s annual congress in Brussels, the governing body stated that all parties settled on a path forward “honoring the principle of sporting merit with focus on long-term club sustainability and enhancing fan experience through technology”.
