The Philadelphia Eagles enjoyed a remarkable 2024 season, securing a Super Bowl victory and highlighting Saquon Barkley as the franchise’s new star running back.
Barkley revitalized his career with the Eagles, earning his first Super Bowl ring, and has now achieved another milestone by being named the cover athlete for Madden 26.
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, known for his iconic reverse hurdle, will feature on the Madden NFL 26 cover, EA Sports announced Monday. Barkley is also the first Eagles offensive player to join the Madden 99 Club.
Barkley shared his excitement about being the new cover athlete for Madden and his pride in joining the exclusive Madden 99 Club.
“Starring on the cover of Madden NFL 26 and being named to the Madden NFL ’99 Club’ are both dreams come true,” Barkley said. “I’m grateful to my teammates, coaches, and Eagles fans for their support, and I can’t wait to hit the field again to give Madden players more highlight-reel moments in Madden NFL 26.”
With a Super Bowl victory secured, the Eagles are set for another strong run this year. It will be interesting to see if Barkley can lead the team to a repeat. Philadelphia is likely to be the NFC favorite heading into the 2025 NFL season, as the team excels on both offense and defense.
