Red Rock Resorts has unveiled plans for a $385 million expansion at Las Vegas’s Durango Casino & Resort. The new development will be located on the existing property’s north side, adding around 275,000 square feet. Construction is scheduled to start in January 2026, with completion by mid-2027. This phase will feature a 36-lane bowling center, luxury movie theater, dining venues including a food hall, and an extended casino floor with 400 additional slot machines.
The first expansion phase, expected to wrap up by the end of 2025, includes 230 new slot machines, a high-limit gaming area with a private bar, expanded parking, and new amenities. Lorenzo Fertitta of Red Rock Resorts highlighted the positive reception Durango Casino has received since opening, noting the appeal of its gaming, dining, and entertainment options.
Frank Fertitta III, CEO of Red Rock Resorts, stated that the expansion aligns with the company’s evolving neighborhood-casino model, aiming to create full entertainment destinations. The company reported strong financial results in the last quarter, with net revenue of $468.6 million and adjusted earnings of $209.4 million, marking the ninth consecutive quarter of record revenue.
There are long-term development plans for Durango Casino & Resort, including a potential hotel tower, convention space, and additional amenities. An update on the next expansion phase is expected in early 2026.
