In celebration of Wrexham’s promotion to the English Championship, Reynolds and his co-owner Rob McElhenney reportedly treated the team to a lavish £500,000 ($658,902) weekend getaway in Las Vegas. The festivities kicked off the moment the squad arrived by private jet on Thursday.
The team wasted no time diving into the celebrations, starting with an all-day pool party. The high energy carried into the evening as the players—still buzzing from their earlier festivities—jumped up and down in a Bellagio hotel elevator, causing it to jam. The squad was temporarily trapped, requiring a 20-minute rescue by local firefighters. Despite the hiccup, the incident did nothing to dampen the joyful mood.
The celebration continued in style that night at Palm Tree Beach Club at MGM Grand, where the shirtless Wrexham players joined forces with DJ Steve Aoki in an unforgettably lively club debut. The team’s uninhibited spirit and sense of camaraderie lit up the Strip, with their crest even showcased in lights along Las Vegas Boulevard.
