The most remarkable aspect of Jérémy Doku’s exhilarating performance was its playfulness, the sheer fun, and his engagement from the outset, basically dancing on the field.
Doku is nicknamed The Count, a nod to the Star Wars Sith Lord Count Dooku. His display against Liverpool resembled a young Yoda skillfully maneuvering through a massive lightsaber battle, whirling and gliding, sensitive to space, wind, and the bending of a grass blade beneath him.
