Cristiano Ronaldo has announced he does not intend to participate in the forthcoming Club World Cup in the United States, despite receiving numerous invitations from clubs in the expanded 32-team event.
Speculation about the Portugal forward’s future increased last month when FIFA president Gianni Infantino revealed talks were in progress regarding Ronaldo’s potential involvement in the Club World Cup, even though his club team, Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia, did not qualify.
