Haji Wright scored for the first time since early October, as leading team Coventry came back to defeat their Midlands rivals Leicester 2-1. Wright’s goal from the bench earned Frank Lampard’s squad an essential three points in their promotion battle.
Jordan James initially scored for Marti Cifuentes’ team before Ellis Simms leveled the score shortly after the break. This victory was vital for the Sky Blues, whose advantage over second-placed Middlesbrough had dwindled to just three points due to a streak of only two wins in eight games since December began.
