Barry-Murphy fields the youngest Cardiff team in decades
New captain Rubin Colwill spearheaded a 2-1 turnaround triumph for Cardiff City against Peterborough. Sir Alex Ferguson was present at the Cardiff City Stadium to cheer on his son Darren, whose Peterborough squad led 1-0 at halftime.
Brian Barry-Murphy, the new manager, assembled the youngest team Cardiff has seen in this century but watched Posh take an initial lead in the 33rd minute. Brad Ihionvien calmly scored from the penalty spot after Will Fish fouled Declan Firth in the area.
