Quarterback Play
Jake Browning is set to start for the Bengals in place of the injured Joe Burrow. Browning’s performance in the previous game was subpar. He threw two interceptions and was sacked three times in a blowout loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The Bengals have expressed confidence in his abilities, but Browning has a lot to prove after a game where Minnesota outscored the Bengals with their defense.
Denver’s Bo Nix has had a disappointing start to his 2025 season. He is averaging under 200 passing yards per game with five touchdowns and three interceptions. Denver has failed to score over 20 points in two of its first three games and Nix has been a reason for their slow start.

The Bengals could use some production in their running game to help offset the lost production from Burrow. Cincinnati doesn’t have a 100-yard rusher for the season after three games, let alone a player who has rushed for 100 yards in one game. Chase Brown leads the Bengals with 93 rushing yards on 47 carries. That is under two yards per carry and Cincinnati has to figure out a way to get that facet of their offense up and running.
