Osmajic sent off as Preston beaten at home by Hull

Haji Wright scored the decisive goal for the second time in three days as league leaders Coventry defeated Millwall 2-1 at the CBS Arena. Wright netted an 85th-minute goal against Leicester on Saturday and secured his 10th goal of the season as Coventry recorded consecutive victories. On-loan Crystal Palace winger Romain Esse scored his first goal for Coventry against his former club before Mihailo Ivanovic netted a stunning equalizer just before the half-hour mark.

Jack Clarke’s two goals propelled Ipswich to second place, marking their fourth consecutive league win after beating playoff contenders Bristol City 2-0 at Portman Road. Ipswich moved ahead of Middlesbrough by a point, who play on Wednesday. The hosts scored after eight minutes, with Clarke’s low effort into the bottom corner marking his ninth goal of the season. Jens Cajuste spun in City’s half and passed to the winger, who dribbled inside and finished past City’s Czech goalkeeper Radek Vitek from inside the penalty area. Ipswich extended their lead in the 55th minute when Iván Azón retrieved a headed clearance from Dara O’Shea and passed to Clarke, who scored past Vitek.
