It was Coventry’s first away win since November 25. Their opening goal came from a quick attack, exploiting West Brom’s high defense. Frank Onyeka’s midfield interception led to Milan van Ewijk’s long ball, which Ephron Mason-Clark controlled before deftly lobbing the goalkeeper, despite Max O’Leary’s touch. Mason-Clark’s seventh goal this season, his first since Boxing Day, arrived as Alfie Gilchrist’s clearance attempt ended in the net.
