The Missouri Tigers play Central Arkansas Thursday in Week 1 of the college football season, but you can’t bet on the game in Missouri.
Show-Me State residents are still awaiting the launch of Missouri sports betting apps on Dec. 1, 2025, so they will not be able to get in on this weekend’s action within state lines.
Mizzou is a heavy favorite against FCS opponent Central Arkansas in Week 1 of the college football season. The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. CT, and will air on the SEC Network.

These odds are via DraftKings Missouri, which has received one of the state’s two untethered sports betting licenses from the Missouri Gaming Commission.
While sports betting is coming to Missouri, you will not be able to place bets on the college football regular season.
With a Dec. 1 launch, online sportsbooks in Missouri will be available for conference championship games and betting on the College Football Playoffs, but that’s two days after Mizzou plays its last regular season game against Arkansas on Nov. 29.
There could be as many as 14 sports betting apps available for the much-anticipated launch, and several have already thrown their hat into the ring. DraftKings and Circa have received the untethered licenses, while FanDuel Missouri, Fanatics Sportsbook Missouri, BetMGM Missouri, bet365 Missouri, Caesars Sportsbook Missouri and Underdog have all announced partnerships for market access.
To bet on regular season college football games this season, you’ll need to cross state lines into Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Tennessee or Kentucky, where online sports betting is currently available.
There are plenty of big games in Week 1, and while you can’t bet on them in yet in Missouri, you obviously can watch. You can also start preparing for December by tracking how teams are doing against the spread.
