Manchester United’s captain Bruno Fernandes has declined a lucrative transfer to Saudi Arabia, choosing to continue “at the highest level.” The 30-year-old midfielder was rumored to be considering a £100m move to Al-Hilal, which could have seen him earn £700,000 weekly.
Fernandes made the decision after discussions with Ruben Amorim and his family. He revealed that the president of Al-Hilal had reached out a month ago to explore the possibility of a transfer. Fernandes stated that he needed time to reflect on his future, emphasizing that he would only consider leaving if it was in Manchester United’s best interest.
