Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day takes me to the goal-rich Dutch Eredivisie, highlighting a goals-focused selection in one of the matches.
⚽️ Heerenveen vs PEC Zwolle
🇳🇱 Eredivisie
⏰ Sunday 15 February, 13:30
Ninth-placed Heerenveen hosts 11th-placed PEC Zwolle at the Abe Lenstra Stadion on Sunday afternoon in a game that promises goals.
Robin Veldman’s side has netted 35 times in their first 22 Eredivisie matches this season, with 18 (51%) of these goals scored at home.
Heerenveen has failed to score at home only against leaders PSV and rivals Groningen, scoring 2+ goals in six of their last nine home games, and will aim to breach a PEC defense that has kept no clean sheets in their last 10 Eredivisie away matches, conceding 30 goals.
Henry van der Vegt’s team has scored 31 goals in their first 22 Dutch top-flight matches this year, with 16 (52%) coming on their away fixtures.
The Blauwvingers have scored in each of their 11 road games this season, scoring more than once in 5/11 (45%) of them, and will look to continue their scoring streak against a Heerenveen defense that only managed two clean sheets this season, none at home.

Bet of the Day
Heerenveen’s first 22 Eredivisie matches this season have averaged 3.27 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score hitting in 15 (68%) of them, including 9/11 (82%) at home, and 15 of their last 21 have exceeded 2.5 goals.
PEC’s first 11 Eredivisie away games this season have averaged 4.18 goals, with the last 10 featuring goals from both teams, while nine of those exceeded 2.5 goals.
Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals was successful in the reverse fixture in November, and I anticipate another high-scoring match in Friesland on Sunday afternoon.
