Key Storylines
- BC comes into this game off a bye. They had a two-game winning streak snapped in their last game when they allowed 52 points to the Toronto Argonauts in Week 12. The Lions will try to bounce back from that lackluster performance on defense.
- Ottawa continues to deal with a long list of absences. They have been without injured QB Dru Brown and several key linemen. Brown hasn’t been ruled out of this game yet but he isn’t going to be at 100% no matter what.
- Both defences have struggled. Both teams have allowed 30 or more points in four of their last five games.
Quarterback Play
Nathan Rourke leads a high-octane Lions offence with sharp passing. He threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns in the previous game against Toronto despite the loss. Rourke is third in the CFL in passing yardage and is one of just three quarterbacks with over 3,000 yards entering Week 14.
Ottawa could start Dustin Crum in place of the injured Dru Brown. Bettors may want to wait until an official announcement is made on Brown before locking in any wagers. His status could have a big impact on where the line moves ahead of kickoff.

Rourke has been efficient throwing the football for BC and that should continue regardless of who is doing the passing for Ottawa in this game.
