Another Major Jackpot at Venetian as Guest Wins $1.5m on Pai Gow

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is having a whale of a November after an Illinois guest hit a seven-figure table game jackpot less than 48 hours after an anonymous guest broke the resort’s record.

Abraham Jimenez pocketed $1,501,338

The latest winner, Abraham Jimenez, pocketed $1,501,338 on Friday playing Face Up Pai Gow. Jimenez’s seven-card straight flush triggered the Millionaire Progressive jackpot after he placed a $5 side bet.

The Illinois visitor’s $1.5m win comes just two days after an anonymous guest broke the Venetian’s record by winning $3.8m playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em on November 5.

While Jimenez’s winning hand came courtesy of a straight flush, the history-making hand played earlier was, however, a Spade Royal Flush.

Vegas table game aficionados heading into the holiday season will likely be aware that the Venetian paid out over $5.3m over two days, and may fancy their luck at a casino where fortune has already struck twice.
