ALGS Year 6 Roadmap Drops: $7M Prize Pool, Three Epic LANs, and Pro Changes

Electronic Arts has unveiled the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Year 6 roadmap, packed with global LAN spectacles, a massive $7 million USD prize pool up $1 million from Year 5 and streamlined paths from open qualifiers to victory.

Three Massive International LAN Events

Year 6 returns to a worldwide stage with three $2 million showdowns each:

Split 1 Playoffs: July 7-11, 2026, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Esports World Cup)
Split 2 Playoffs: Oct. 29-Nov. 1, 2026, Orleans Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
Championship: Jan. 28-31, 2027, Daiwa House PREMIST Dome, Sapporo, Japan (third straight year)

#1: Feb. 28-Mar. 2
#2: Mar. 7-9
#3: Mar. 14-16
#4: Mar. 21-23

Pro League Split 1:

Apr. 5-Jun. 15 (online)

Challenger Circuit Split 1:

#1: Apr. 11-13
#2: Apr. 25-27
#3: May 23-25
#4: Jun. 6-8

Pro League Qualifier: Jul. 24-26 (online)

Pro League Split 2: Aug. 22-Oct. 4 (online)

Challenger Circuit Split 2:

#1: Aug. 22-24
#2: Sep. 5-7
#3: Sep. 26-28

Last Chance Qualifier: Nov. 20-22 (online)

Game Changing Updates for Pros and Amateurs

ALGS Online Open: Rebranded Preseason Qualifiers registration live now, kicking off Feb 28 for shots at Pro League.
Legend Bans: Now in Challenger Circuit for consistent competitive play.
Roster Stability: One transfer window per Pro League split to build stronger teams and narratives.
Points Integrity: Players need 12+ Pro League matches (or LAN equivalent) with a team for Championship Points to count.
