Sheffield United has announced Rubén Sellés as their new manager following Chris Wilder’s departure, which Wilder described with “great regret.” Sellés was quickly appointed as Wilder’s replacement on Wednesday evening, agreeing to a three-year contract with the Championship team. The 42-year-old Spanish manager, previously with Southampton, Reading, and Hull, commented: “Joining a club with such a rich history and ambition was an obvious choice. This is a strong and ambitious project, and it was crucial that everyone shared the same vision from the start.”
