2025 Brickyard 400 Preview
This year’s race returns to the classic 2.5‑mile oval format for 160 laps. As the concluding round of the inaugural In‑Season Challenge, only two drivers remain eligible for the $1 million prize. Ty Gibbs and Ty Dillon are certainly not the expected names to be the final two in that competition. Nevertheless, one of them will etch their name in the NASCAR history books here. This dramatic subplot adds layers of tension to a race already rich in history.
Track history favors those with strong oval credentials. Tyler Reddick leads all current drivers in average finish at Indy with a fifth‑place finish and two top‑10s. Joey Logano has respectable stats too with four top‑5s and eight top‑10s under his belt. Christopher Bell sits around eighth on average based on a small sample size there.
