According to the latest odds, Olympiacos heads into the tournament as the frontrunner to win it all. Why Olympiacos Is the Team to Beat
Olympiacos enters the Final Four as the top seed, finishing the regular season with a strong 24-10 record. In the playoffs, they took down Real Madrid 3-1 in a high-stakes series. After dropping the opening game in Madrid (80-72), Olympiacos bounced back to win three straight, clinching the series with an 86-84 victory in Game 4.
A major factor in their success has been Sasha Vezenkov, recently named EuroLeague Playoffs MVP. While not all of his teammates delivered in Game 1—players like Moustapha Fall, Luca Vildoza, and Kostas Papanikolaou struggled—Olympiacos collectively raised their level afterward.

While home-court advantage played a crucial role in their playoff survival, they won’t have that luxury in Abu Dhabi. Their semifinal matchup against Fenerbahce, a team bolstered by passionate support in the Middle East, could prove challenging. Fenerbahce made a statement by sweeping Paris 3-0 in their quarterfinal series, showing strong form at the right time.
Final Four Prediction: Olympiacos to Lift the Trophy
The semifinal between Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce is expected to be a tightly contested battle. We lean toward Fenerbahce pulling off a slight upset.
However, regardless of who advances, the likely opponent in the final will be Olympiacos—currently playing some of the most dominant basketball in Europe. With Vezenkov in top form and a deep, experienced roster, Olympiacos looks primed to capture their first EuroLeague title in over a decade.
